Introduction

          Gujarat University has a well equipped Workshop which was established on 1965 for the repair and maintenance of Scientific Instruments and other mechanical job work. Currently there are eight employees are working at the university workshop.

• Repair and Maintenance of Scientific instruments and other mechanical job work.
• Glass Blowing Work, Electric Work, Plumbing work etc.

Functions

• To provide services to the various departments of the university in repair and maintenance of their instruments and glass apparatus.
• To provide an operational assistance on analytical and specialized instruments available in the university.
